Wild Awakening Study & Practice Group Copenhagen Started 28th January 2010 - This is an open study group and anyone may attend.

Next Meeting: A new study group will start in Mid January 2011 - details will be posted in December.
Please note that the last session of the present study group was held on 28th October 2010. It is anticipated that a new study group will start in mid-January 2011.
The weekly shinay meditation practice on Thursdays is at 6 o'clock continues as usual and finishes soon after 7pm.
I wish to ask all who are attending this study group to ring at the centre door a little after 19.00. (This is to avoid disturbing the meditation group who may still be sitting up to then). Of course study group members are very welcome to attend the shinay meditation session as well and vice versa.
Time: 19.20 on Thursdays - this is 10 minutes earlier than previously arranged - to allow for a short sitting before 19.30.

Wild Awakening Study Group Copenhagen
This study group is open to anyone who may wish to attend.
The meetings start with a short period of meditation (of approximately 15 minutes), followed by the reciting of a prayer to Manjushri.
The meeting starts with a short 10 minute meditation followed by reading and discussion. There will be the occasional 5 minute break in discussions to reflect quietly on the subject matter. These periods may vary depending on the requirements and requests of the group members. We are presently reading the text of the book in English and allowing spontaneous comments, questions and discussion by anyone attending on any point immediately read. There will be space to allow for clarification in Danish, as and when anyone so wishes.
The meetings are concluded with a short dedication and song for rebirth in Sukhavati (Dewachen - the pure land of Amitabha Buddha).
