Mind Beyond Death Study Group Copenhagen Practical Details

When discussing the starting of this study group with Ven. Dz Ponlop Rinpoche, he agreed with my suggestion to conclude with this sutra on the qualities of Sukhavati. A web page for the first part of the Larger Sukhavati Vyuha Sutra is found here.

Please note that I am abroad for a month but usually the study group meeting times are every Thursday at 19.30.
The weekly shinay meditation practice on Thursdays is at 6 o'clock and usually finishes soon after 7pm.
I wish to I ask all members who are attending the Mind beyond Death study group to ring at the centre door a little after 19.00. (This is to avoid disturbing the meditation group who may still be sitting up to then). Of course study group members are very welcome to attend the shinay meditation session as well.

Mind Beyond Death Study Group Copenhagen
The meetings start with a short period of meditation (of approximately 15 minutes), followed by the reciting of a prayer to Manjushri.
The format of the discussion period may vary depending on the requirements and requests of the group members. We are presently reading the text of the book in English and allowing spontaneous discussion on any point immediately read by anyone attending. There will be space to allow for clarification in Danish, as and when anyone so wishes.
The meetings are concluded with a short dedication and song for rebirth in Sukhavati (Dewachen - the pure land of Amitabha Buddha).
